Angela Janda’s poetry has appeared in journals including San Pedro River Review, Whitefish Review, and New Mexico Poetry Review. She was the recipient of a 2006 New Mexico Discovery Award for poetry. Her first play, The Tide, was produced by Theaterwork (Santa Fe, NM) in 2012. She grew up in rural Minnesota, attended Gustavus Adolphus College, and earned her Master of Accounting degree at Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico.
Angela has been a permanent member of the company at Theaterwork since 2004. In 2011, she played Antigone in Jean Anouilh’s Antigone. The play was staged in an abandoned municipal swimming pool.
